Indonesia's tourism sector relies heavily on digital platforms to attract visitors, making the performance and usability of the Wonderful Indonesia website crucial. This study evaluates its effectiveness in engaging users, optimizing accessibility, and enhancing digital tourism strategies. Using a qualitative case study approach, website performance analysis revealed a decline in organic traffic from 6.7 million in November 2024 to 2.9 million in January 2025, before slightly recovering to 3.7 million in February 2025. The website has a Domain Authority (DA) score of 78, with 4.2 million backlinks contributing to its search visibility. However, its global ranking dropped from 12,315 to 15,827, indicating reduced competitiveness. Top keywords driving traffic include "Indonesia tourism," "Bali travel guide," and "Jakarta attractions." Page speed analysis showed an average load time of 4.8 seconds, contributing to an increased bounce rate. Mobile usability scored 73/100, highlighting navigation challenges. Content structure analysis found that multimedia elements such as images and videos increased engagement, but inconsistent formatting and unclear call-to-action buttons reduced conversion rates. To enhance digital tourism, recommendations include speed optimization, structured content, simplified booking processes, and improved accessibility features. This study provides practical insights for optimizing tourism websites and strengthening Indonesia’s online tourism presence. Future research should explore AI-driven personalization and virtual tourism to enhance engagement.
